If you are buying Illustrator, also get Adobe Photoshop, it's the superior painting softare, if money is a problem Corel is cheaper, but Adobe products are the best.

I have just received four 128 mg computers with epson printers, a
Umax scanner and an Epson digital camera as part of a grant to introduce
technology to my middle school art students. I must make a decision this
week as to which graphics software program to order and I have done some
research comparing Adobe Illustrator with Corel Draw and Corel Paint.
If anyone could help me out with advice I would greatly appreciate it!
