you know, this really 'hit home' with me....I mean, are we only teachers to
those we see in a school setting, or is it in our nature per se?.....I used
to work as part of a unit of elementary itinerants(12!) many of whom were
EXTREMELY proprietary about lessons and techniques...and then you would see
someone across the country doing the almost exact same lesson, and it was
published in school arts....I have another friend who works 12 hour days,
truly to her own detriment, because she only wants to do lessons she has
"invented" herself.....I am a believer in Jung's collective unconscious, and
I just think that there is nothing new TO be invented....it's sort of all
already floating around out there, and how we pick and choose to interpret
these concepts is what makes up pour individuality
