    Dear Ellen Sears,
Your post about not trusting the origins of certain subject lines
prompts me to call for ideas from our list members to come up with a very
short symbol for our group that will show up on our mail. Perhaps it can be
something Lyris would adopt. This past spring I joined another listserve
that helps people deal with an eye and vision disorder called nystagmus. As
you can see on the sample below, each post comes with the "*Nys" symbol
that precedes the subject. That is the way it appears on the inbox line as
well,so I know immediately which list the sender is on. Hope to hear ideas
    from some of you, please.
By the way, if you're curious about this topic upon reading the
post below, AN stands for Acquired Nystagmus and ANN is the American
Nystagmus Network, a non-profit group set up to help those of us with this
    condition.

This web sight has a good representation of what AN's see... but as the
text by the train station cites, it is not quite fast enough. (In my case
I see things move much quicker, and doubled. (sender's name deleted)
