It's about the girl that Vermeer painted. It's told in her words. She worked
for him as a maid, cleaning his studio. It's a novel with so much art and
history in it, not to mention a great plot. There's something for every art
lover on this list. I keep a book of Vermeer's paintings nearby when I am
reading it. Enjoy!
