Cunning fake or priceless treasure? This new exhibition takes you behind the scenes to see how curators, conservators, and scientists unraveled the mystery of this spectacular cabinet, one of the rarest and most important pieces of French Renaissance furniture in the United States.
Hands-on activities let you try your hand at reading tree rings, using woodworking tools, and examining the tiniest of textile fibers.
